Videos of Hawaiian Tattoo

Welcome to our collection of videos of Hawaiian tattoo. To some, tattoos may seem to be little more than a fashion accessory or an affectation of the Hawaiian Renaissance. Tattooing may seem to have little to do with the real issues surrounding the survival and cultural integrity of both the shattered Hawaiian nation and the imperiled nation of local folk (since 2020, we have lost 100,000 of our best and brightest to the Ninth Island). But everything means something. Tattoos are an affirmation of an identity apart from mainstream America. Many here would agree that while Hawai’i is part of the United States, it is not America. Tattooing is a traditional Hawaiian practice, and in a sense, it is also a statement of civil disobedience against the inundation of American pop culture and dreary sameness of corporate America. We wear the colors proudly.
